Senior Android Developer Position

Kent, Washington

Job Duties: Research, architect, test, document and implement code to support the interaction of a Kotlin based Android application with an Internet of Things device that leverages RESTful APIs, OBDII communication, and Bluetooth Low Energy protocols. Develop and maintain a Kotlin based Android application that will interact with an enterprise e-commerce platform. Develop and maintain a C# based smartwatch application that interacts with RESTful APIs and an Internet of Things device.

Job Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign degree equivalent, in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field, plus 3 years of experience as a Software Developer, or related occupation, including:

• • 3 years of experience researching and planning Kotlin application architecture;
• • 3 years of experience developing unit tests and working with CI/CD pipelines;
• • 3 years of experience developing Kotlin-based Android applications;
• • 3 years of experience interacting with Internet of Things cellular based devices;
• • 3 years of experience working with RESTful APIs;
• • 3 years of experience managing the deployment of Android applications in Google Console;
• • 3 years of experience with object-oriented programming in C#/C++/Java;
• • 2 years of experience working with Bluetooth Low Energy; and
• • 2 years of experience working with the project management software, JIRA. Experience may be gained concurrently.
